Pendle Community Radio will serve the Asian communities in Nelson and the surrounding area. The service is primarily for the Pakistani community and aims to be a source of community empowerment, leading to social integration, economic regeneration and political well-being.

Crescent Radio will provide a community service for the Asian Muslim audience of Rochdale, with largely talk-based programming in English and community languages.

Heritage Radio’s programming will predominantly serve the Muslim community in Whalley Range and surrounding areas in south Manchester.

Inspire FM will be rooted in the local Muslim community and accessible to all local people providing unique and appropriate Luton-focused educational and entertainment programming. Training opportunities will be provided for local people to make and broadcast their own programmes, using community radio as a means of empowerment and personal development.

Link FM Sheffield is for the Pakistani and Muslim communities in Sheffield. The service informs, educates and entertains listeners while encouraging inclusion and community engagement. Over the course of each week, programming in Urdu, Punjabi and English is broadcast.

Marefa Radio will serve the Muslim population of Bradford city and the surrounding localities. It will serve the social and spiritual needs of its target communities through the provision of discussion and other speech elements. Carefully selected music will also be a feature. One of the functions of Marefa Radio will be to bring the community together.

Apni Awaz will serve the Pakistani and Kashmiri community of Bradford, as a general entertainment radio station that will provide information to its target audience. It will deliver local, national and international news alongside community information in English and other languages.

The station will provide a platform from which social, economic & religious issues of concern to the Muslim Community (Pakistani, Kashmiri, Bengali & Indian) will be addressed. The service aims to promote the regeneration and confidence building of the community through entertaining, inspiring and educational programmes.

Radio Ikhlas plans to target the Asian (primarily Pakistani) community and the growing population of asylum seekers in the Normanton area of Derby.

Radio MAC will broadcast a community radio service to the Muslim and wider ethnic communities of Bradford.

Radio Sangam will provide a community radio service for the Indian, Pakistani and Bangladeshi communities of Huddersfield.

RajoRadio serves the Somali community in Birmingham by providing programmes to the community in Somali and English. The service will give voice to issues of importance for the community, and will aim to foster better relations within the community and with others in Birmingham.

Revive FM provides a service for the minority ethnic communities in Newham. The station is inclusive and promotes integration and community cohesion. It delivers community information, news, local and religious content, and links with community groups, the disadvantaged and youth in the area. Over the course of each week, programming in Urdu, Hindi, Potowari, Bengali, Punjabi and English is broadcast.

Salaam Radio will provide a community radio service that will be predominantly for the Muslim population of Peterborough.

This service is for Muslims in east Birmingham, including Small Heath and surrounding areas.
