UK and Irish Radio Stations broadcasting on the Internet
RadioFeeds UK & Ireland for Slim Devices SqueezeBoxes and Transporters
Attention SqueezeBox and Transporter owners: You can now get RadioFeeds on your network media player to gain access to plenty of radio stations from around the UK and Ireland! What's more, if you're using SqueezeCenter 7.0, you can install a special plugin that we've developed for easier access. You'll now never need to worry about extracting URLs for your favourite radio stations.
You will need to register to access this service, but
there are no registration/subscription charges.
To register, please click on "REGISTER!" below and select "Slim
Devices
Registration" from the drop down list. You must include the following
details for a successful registration:
Note: You will need to install a copy of the AlienBBC plugin onto your SlimServer / SqueezeCenter to listen to RealPlayer and aacPlus stations. However, Windows Media, Streaming mp3 and Ogg Vorbis station streams can still be accessed through SqueezeNetwork without the need for SlimServer / SqueezeNetwork to be running. Full instructions will be given in the acceptance email.
Certain Windows Media stations are incompatible with the hardware and as a result, are not listed in the directory. Stations at time of publishing include: 3FM, Dee 106.3, Easy Radio, Exeter FM, Kismat Radio, London Turkish Radio, LMFM, New Style Radio, Palm 105.5, Punjabi Radio, South London Radio 107.3, Sunrise Radio, Time 106.6, Time 106.8, Time 107.5, Yarr Radio, Youthcomm Radio. Station streams using QuickTime or Flash Players are also not included in the directory.
