This PPL thing is really a shame!! We do not hear so much British or "non-French" music on French radios, now that we have quotas in favour of French music.. Or at least we always hear the same stuff.. Thanks to the Internet, I can hear different sounds and different artists. I'd personally like to know what is going on in other parts of the world! I think it is such a pity that I would not be able to listen to a radio station, only because I live on the wrong side of the Channel!!

I think it stinks. What's the point in having a stream if you can't go worldwide?
Michael, Virginia, USA
The fact that you can't stream out of the UK seems silly, and sad. The Internet is about breaking down borders.

I don't now envy anybody living abroad who uses RadioFeeds daily. That stinks - it's like saying you can't listen to the stations unless you're British. Other countries, I should imagine, will soon follow on. What is the point then to stream? I can see the future is not looking good and will be spoiling people's enjoyment. There are a lot of people who use the RadioFeeds abroad who are going to be upset by this. Hope the powers that be change their minds on the matter because it stinks.

I am an Englishman living in Ohio, USA. I will miss my local English station, which keeps me in touch with the local English news. There are many people like me who like to hear the best in radio. Thanks for having such a great site.

OK I'm half way around the world and get limited premiership games. It's pretty short-sighted to limit radio commentary to the UK. Does the premiership not want to gain market share in other areas of the world? Here in Canada, there is huge potential for growth. When Sunderland visited here in Victoria last year we sold out our small 4000 seat stadium. Keep streaming radio alive!!!!!

I think the stopping of streaming at the end of the month totally bites. How else am I to get good music and a fair and balanced approach to news and events?

I listen to UK radio stations from France where we don't have any FM stations in English at all!!! UK radio stations sound great to me and it's stupid to restrict their live streams to the UK audience!!!
Patrick, Paris, France
The greed of these people is beyond imagination. If you want to kill off the internet in stages then PPL is an agent of this movement. First censorship now greed. What next? The internet is the engine of the economies of this century. If it is killed off by the censors and the greed mongers then we are all in big trouble.

I can not really understand this. While this does not affect listeners here in the UK it affects the freedom of the internet and is going against the main benefit of the internet. What next? Listeners in the UK not hearing Irish or perhaps Spanish stations?
Francis, Greater Manchester, UK
What's the point of limiting the streams to the UK only? If I was in the UK I would be listening on the radio. What total moron thought this up? The reason to listen in via the Internet is because I can't listen to the stations on my radio. Always bitching about British bands having a hard time making it into the US market, so what do you do..... limit the market exposure even more by not letting US listeners hear the new music via the Internet. Congrats, you bunch of dinosaurs.
Michael, Ohio, USA
Love the site, and use it frequently from Brisbane, Australia. Limitation of international access to UK streaming radio will cut off a large expat audience from so many radio stations. They'll only miss us when we're gone. That said, there are plenty more stations to listen to from around the world. It's another example where rights management will simply push people into the arms of alternative providers.

Regarding the restriction of live stream access to users from the United Kingdom only: I'm disappointed - I enjoy listening to UK radio more so than any of the American stations.. very disappointing. If they don't provide the feed, rather than cut it off altogether, at least provide a subscription to the service.
