Tap on one of the following stream link(s) to listen live to Moorlands Radio on your Android device:
UK & Irish Community radio:
128s (mp3)
(ext-app)
What do all these numbers above mean?
Some stations have multiple streams available. The greater the number for your chosen stream, the better the sound quality you will hear, but also the higher amount of data that will be consumed by your device. Data usage is less of a concern if you're using wi-fi rather than 3G/4G/5G.
The mp3 format has been designed for higher quality listening whereas the newer AAC+ format has been designed with data economy in mind. Some consider 48k-64k AAC+ to be roughly equivalent to 128k mp3 in terms of sound quality, so choose a stream depending on your own requirements. Not all stations are available in both formats. s = stereo, m = mono.
The "ext-app" option allows compatible web browsers (such as Firefox and older versions of Chromium-based browsers) to launch an external app (such as XiiaLive) to play the webstream.
If a "?" is shown before the bitrate, then this indicates that the stream has been reported to be dead and is unlikely to work. It may still be worth giving it a try in case it has returned to service since the last database update.
(For streams unavailable in app-free mode, a compatible media player such as XiiaLive is required on your Android device. Download XiiaLive Lite for free from the Google Play Store.)
